One old man wanted to sit at the game and they wouldn't let him because they knew he played very slowly and they sat him at a regular 1/2 game. Nobody had to be asked more than once to post their blinds and they knew when the action was on them. The game moved a lot faster than a normal 1/2 game because the players were all paying attention. Of course that was mostly the slower dealers who were saying that. The room manager asked me when I went to cash out, and I told him that some of the dealers were saying that it wasn't about them going fast, just the players who have 10 seconds to act. There seemed to be a little confusion among the dealers about exactly how they were supposed to work. I played the new 'speed' tables for about 5 hours. Had 10+ tables going with two PLO going at 4pm. Just visited Mardi Gras for the first time this past Tuesday.
